Raw material sourcing
Raw material
The textile industry is highly polluting. It depletes natural resources, contaminates soils and watercourses, and increases greenhouse gas emissions. This is what Montloup is committed to fighting against.
At Montloup, we use certified organic or eco-friendly fibers to the maximum. We continually seek new solutions to minimize the use of synthetic fibers such as polyester or spandex, which are used, when necessary, at less than 20% of the total fabric composition.
We are not perfect, but we strive to reduce our ecological impact as much as possible by constantly finding new ways to decrease our footprint. We are open to any suggestions!

Traceability
By offering products made in Canada, Montloup ensures transparency throughout the entire production chain. We ensure that the production meets our standards for quality, environmental respect, and ethics at every stage of the production chain.
Since February 2022, you will find all information regarding fiber origins, their manufacturing locations (spinning), and certifications on each product page.
Since the creation of the company, we have been working hard to improve our processes by focusing on the sustainability of materials, avoiding inventory surpluses, and striving to minimize the overall environmental impact of our production chain.
We are excited to share our progress and discoveries through our blog section.
